A friend of mine always says how much she adores her kids. I admire that she says it so often. While they are awake, I don't often think of what a joy these little ones can be. But put those kiddos in bed and all I can do is think about how fun they are and how cute they look, and how proud I am for their accomplishments. So I now join the club by saying, I adore my children.

Naomi makes a mama proud -- potty training herself because I didn't dare to do it with all the craziness in our lives at the moment.
Here is Keenan eating a chicken bone. I know, it's a choking hazard, but we just couldn't resist his pleas for meat!
And finally, this is Adara, planking (sort of) on a pipe somewhere in Wyoming.

I don't think he's going to choke on a bone that big -- not if you watch him closely. I think even an infant realizes that some things just don't fit all the way in one's mouth.
I remember your promising Naomi in the cafe that she could start her potty training once you got back home. (She was jealous that Adara got to go to the restroom and she didn't.) Looks like you just weren't fast enough for her. But I've heard of kids (all girls, come to think of it) who potty trained themselves because they wanted to be like their older siblings, so she'll probably do fine. Hey, and it's got to make your life just that much easier.
I was thinking that Adara started school this year, but I guess it's not until next year, is it?
Begging: Please come over and sign up to follow my new, public writing blog! I need this one to look like I have people reading my stuff, and, well, you've been reading my stuff for decades.....
Thanks!
