Homonyms

I'm lovin the four year old learning process. Today Adara said, "I know. . . . I know. Why does it say "know" when it has the word "no" in it?"

Good question there, kiddo.

Ok, im getting late night philosophical insights here. Maybe Adara meant that "know" and "no" are opposites. In binary terms, knowing something is "on". But "no" means that the knowledge is false, or, binary-wise, "off."

So it is ironic that the word "no" is contained in the word "kNOw."
